**Responsibilities**: - Support PBWMT APAC Banking and Payments Production Quality Management Team (PQM) journey to take production quality and monitoring to the next level through the development/use of automation tools using next generation technologies and establishing and executing best in class processes to accomplish said goals. The conceptualization, development and rollout of these automation tools will benefit the organization as it will enable efficiency, increase productivity and improve customer satisfaction. - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems - Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts - Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions - Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. - Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. - Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Qualifications: - Proficient in either JAVA, MICROSERVICE, API, or COBOL/CICS, COBOL, DB2, EZTRIEVE, SAS and API programming and de-bugging. Knowledge and experience in SPLUNK is a plus. - Good working knowledge and experience in Consumer or Private Banking Systems (Customer and Relationship Management, CASA, Loans, Time Deposits, Transfers and Payments, General Ledger and Accounting, Transaction Security, Authorization, Debit Card, Statements and Advices). - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements - Able to work during weekends as well as be called for on-call support for Production issues and Implementations (during respective country green zone). **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
