**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ)**:
Develop detailed BOQs based on project requirements, ensuring accurate estimation of materials and costs.
**2. Architectural Drawings and Designs**:
Prepare and review architectural drawings and detailed project designs in alignment with conservation standards and historical accuracy.
**3. Detailed Project Reports (DPR)**:
Create and present comprehensive DPRs, outlining the scope of work, methodologies, timelines, and recommendations for heritage projects.
**4. Day-to-Day Site Execution and Reporting**:
Monitor site execution and ensure work is carried out as per conservation guidelines. Prepare daily site execution reports to track project progress.
**5. Photographic Documentation**:
Conduct photographic documentation of heritage sites before, during, and after restoration, maintaining a visual record for project archives.
**6. Architectural Survey and Assessment**:
Perform on-site architectural surveys to assess the condition of heritage structures and identify necessary restoration interventions.
**7. Collaboration with Project Teams**:
Work closely with engineers, contractors, conservation experts, and stakeholders to ensure project success and adherence to conservation principles.
**8. Compliance and Quality Control**:
Ensure all work complies with heritage conservation regulations and that the highest standards of craftsmanship are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture, preferably with a specialization in Conservation Architecture or Heritage Management.
- 0 to 4 years of experience in conservation and restoration projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural design software.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and conservation principles.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in preparing BOQs and DPRs for conservation projects.
- Familiarity with local and international conservation regulations.
- A passion for heritage preservation and sustainable practices
