Music Teacher

**FULL-TIME, ON-SITE POSITION IN VISNAGAR, GUJARAT.**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one instrument (keyboard, guitar, piano, etc.) and vocal training (vocal preferred).
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant teaching experience across different age groups (K-12) as a Music Teacher.
- Experience in planning and conducting school concerts, assemblies, or performances.
- Ability to teach music theory, sight-reading, and composition at age-appropriate levels.
- Familiarity with a broad range of musical genres and cultural music traditions.
- Willingness to relocate to Visnagar, Gujarat
- Willingness to organise and lead extracurricular activities such as choir, band, or music clubs.
- Readiness to participate in school events, annual days, and productions.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in music and pedagogy.
- Strong work ethics and high work quality standards

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and delivering music lessons for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12
- Introducing students to music theory, notation, rhythm, and composition
- Instructing students in vocal and instrumental techniques
- Developing students' musical skills and appreciation across genres and cultures
- Organising and leading school concerts, performances, and music events
- Rehearsing and preparing student groups such as choirs, bands, or ensembles
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback for improvement
- Maintaining accurate records of student achievement and participation
- Collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and events
- Communicating with parents and school leadership regarding student progress
- Managing and maintaining music instruments, equipment, and materials
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development
- Contributing to the school community through events, clubs, and extracurricular activities
- Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members
- Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and other leaders
