Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues

Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels

Create and maintain Linux/Windows server images

Optimizing network hardware and software to enable VMware integration.

Designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template management.

Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.

Administrative and troubleshooting Level-2 knowledge of Intel based micro processing

Proactively maintain and develop all Vmware infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service

Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.

Troubleshooting system and server errors.

Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.

Proactively user access, monitoring system performance and capacity planning

Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups

Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments

Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs

Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware

Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment

Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

Installation of ESXi server

Manage permissions (ESX(i) and Virtual Center)

Virtual machine add / modify / delete

**Change & Configuration Management**

Patch verification and installation2

Physical and virtual processors configuration and management

Memory configuration and virtual machine memory management

Virtual machine Disk / Drive management4

Virtual machine network management

DNS and routing configuration

Security setting and configuration

Configuration changes required as part of change request

**Fault Management**

Response to alerts generated by systems or problems reported by customer

**Performance Management**

Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and identification of problem area

Resolution of problems through configuration changes / replacements

Auto alerts and notification to performance degradation / threshold violation

Trouble shooting & root cause analysis for incidents / faults

Identifying bottlenecks and suggesting de-bottlenecking solution

**Operation Support**

Schedule virtual machine snapshots

Snapshot restoration

Cloning / clone a virtual machine to a template6

Deploying template to a virtual machine

Work log update for trouble ticket and closure

**Version Support**

Standard, Enterprise and Enterprise plus editions
