Responsibilities - 1. Operates and maintains sophisticated equipment used in the division, is able to properly set up, calibrate, maintain, operate and shut down such instruments.

2. Processing of samples in the sections placed. Prepare specimens for examination in the section of biochemistry/pathology/microbiology.

3. Adhere to all documents and SOPs as defined by the laboratory management.

4. Helps in collecting blood samples, tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating and noting time of collection.

5. Maintains competence in Laboratory Information System that is crucial to the quality operations of the laboratory and patient care.

6. Performance and documentation of daily QA & QC in the section wherever on duty, in accordance with NABL requirements, such as
- Monitoring of temperature controlled equipment.
- Monitoring of daily and weekly maintenance

7. Stock maintenance for all the kits and reagents in the section

Ensuring that all health and lab safety procedures are understood and followed correctly in the section.
- 8. Documenting all necessary records in the respective sections as per NABL guidelines.- Qualifications and Experience - Degree/ Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc MLT/DMLT)-
- Two to four (2-4) years’ work experience in NABL accredited Labs.-
- Basic computer literacy- Very good communication skills
- Would be required to do rotational shift duties Including night shifts.
