About the role

The Senior Product Expert AR/ FSCM position is responsible for the technical system solution for accounts receivable processes globally. This requires a broad range of multi-disciplinary skills such as configuration in SAP FSCM (including Collections, Dispute, Credit Management), FI (GL, AP, AR), Inter-Company, integration with SD, and incoming payments matching, as well as solution design, change management, product management and more. The Senior Product Expert AR/ FSCM speaks with authority on their suite of solutions and provides specialist professional and technical advice to senior leaders in both Finance and Technology domains, and provides input into strategic decisions for the solution area of accounts receivable management. The Senior Product Expert AR/ FSCM requires both technical and interpersonal skills to design, describe, and manage their technology domain and how they interact with other domains.

Key responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into specific technical solutions in order to support configuration and custom development where required, aligned with the global template and broader Tech strategy.
- Develop a product roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders aligned with the broader Tech strategy and wider business objectives.
- Lead small to medium sized projects within their domain and use their expertise in cross-functional teams to produce project deliverables, such as design, build and testing.
- Understand potentially complex problems and find all the possible solutions - accurately defining the issue and the requirement.
- Responsible for delivery of regulatory (SOx/GxP etc.) compliant solutions within Haleon technical control framework and ensuring strategy aligns to regulatory compliance
- Represent and explain any proposed Tech solutions in various governance forums, eg Architecture Board
- Facilitates regular communication with other Tech specialists and solution architects to develop and implement complex technology and business solutions.

Qualifications and skills

Essential
- University Degree
- Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum Experience:

- 8+ years experience in implementing large and complex SAP Projects, solution build, configuration and delivery to meet business requirements.
- Expert hands on experience in deploying SAP solutions using configuration in SAP FSCM and FICO modules
- Demonstrated breadth of knowledge and solution delivery experience across the end-to-end financial process and its integration points with other processes (Treasury/Banking, COBO, Tax, O2C, P2P, BI etc.), acquired through multiple hands-on roles in global SAP implementations

Preferred Experience:

- Experience of FICO modules and O2C/AR processes
- Experience in cash matching apps (e.g. FS2 Autobank, High Radius)
- Experience in working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and waterfall delivery models
- Experience in an FMCG commercial and manufacturing environment, or other regulated environment
- Experience with middleware e.g. SAP PO and API technologies
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager
- Prior experience with emerging technologies including ML, AI, IoT and Blockchain is a plus

Preferred
- Partners with other technical experts to define global enterprise wide solutions, ensuring alignment to business objectives and regulatory requirements (SOx and GxP).
- Ability to communicate on deep technical terminology as well as business level and to translate between them.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working effectively in large, complex cross functional teams, capable of building relationships across different stakeholders and functional groups
