Job Summary:
The Finishing Supervisor - Dyeing is responsible for overseeing and managing the dyeing and finishing processes within the têxtile production department. This includes supervising staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing production efficiency while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage the dyeing and finishing team to ensure the efficient execution of tasks.
- Monitor the dyeing process, including color matching, consistency, and fabric quality.
- Oversee the washing, drying, and finishing processes of dyed fabrics, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that the final products meet the required specifications.
- Ensure that all dyeing and finishing equipment is operating properly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, quality control) to meet production schedules and targets.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of dyes, chemicals, and finished fabrics.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the dyeing and finishing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, dye lots, and chemical usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Textiles & B.sc(chemistry) or equivalent (a degree in Textile or a related field is preferred).
- Proven experience in dyeing and finishing in the têxtile industry, with leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of dyeing techniques, color management, and fabric properties.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the têxtile industry.
