Pharmacologist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Research & Analysis**:

- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate drug efficacy, potency, absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME).
- Investigate drug interactions, side effects, and safety margins.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Prepare detailed scientific reports and research publications.
- Present findings to internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation complies with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work with toxicologists, chemists, clinicians, and regulatory affairs teams to support drug development from discovery to approval.
- Provide pharmacological expertise in cross-functional project teams.
- **Compliance**:

- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain laboratory records and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Master’s or PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
- Certifications or training in clinical pharmacology or drug development are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- 2-5 years of research or industry experience in pharmacology, preclinical drug development, or clinical pharmacology.
- Experience with in vivo and in vitro models.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficient in laboratory techniques, data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad, WinNonlin), and bioassays.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in regulatory submissions (e.g., IND, NDA).
- Familiarity with pharmacogenomics and systems pharmacology.
- Ability to mentor junior scientists and lead research projects.
