**Required Skills & Responsibilities**
- Administer and maintain **VMware vSphere** and **VMware ESXi** hosts, including configuration, deployment, and routine maintenance.
- Manage **VMware vCenter Server** for centralized monitoring and control of ESXi hosts and virtual machines (VMs).
- Create, configure, deploy, and manage **virtual machines (VMs)** and **VM templates**.
- Configure and manage **VMware clusters**, **resource pools**, **DRS**, and **high availability (HA)** settings.
- Manage and optimize **storage solutions**, including **VMware vSAN**, **NFS**, and other storage integrations.
- Configure and manage **VMware networking**, including **vSwitches**, **Distributed Switches (vDS)**, and network policies.
- Monitor and optimize the **performance of storage and network resources** in virtual environments.
- Implement, manage, and maintain **VM backup and recovery solutions**, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Design, test, and update **disaster recovery (DR) plans** for VMware infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to **VMs**, **host servers**, **storage**, and **networking**.
- Maintain up-to-date **documentation** for all VMware systems, configurations, operational procedures, and recovery processes.
