**Overall purpose of the role**
To assist with direct/indirect tax filings and reporting. This role is a hands-on Analyst role which is required to produce a high standard of reporting from our shared service center, acting as an intermediary to our tax advisors and local finance teams across Alight group.

**Main Responsibilities**
Perform tax reconciliations on a timely manner with proper supporting’s for SOX requirements.

Take ownership of tax accounting, RTP and tax reporting activities.

Finalizing multiple entities Direct and Indirect tax returns.
Co-ordination with various teams to ensure the timely filing of tax returns.
Co-ordinate with tax advisors located in offshore and make sure all required filings are done in time.
Frequent interaction and status update with Tax XLT in US & UK on various
activities/updates.
Take ownership of tax payments, tax reporting and filings for monthly/quarterly/annual periods.

**Desirable Knowledge**
Experience in Direct/Indirect tax with 1 to 3 years of experience. Commerce Graduate
Good knowledge in financial and tax accounting.
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels across teams from staff to XLT.
Capability to independently handle and solve complex tax requirements by doing research.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve tight deadlines.
Ability to work on multiple assignments.
Experience in ERP system Workday is desirable.
