Position: Student Counselor

**Salary**: 25k

Experience: 0-3 years

**Student counsellors' job duties**
- evaluating the talents, interests and traits of students using personality
- and aptitude tests
- counselling children on personal concerns concerning their classmates, school experiences and home life to keep them comfortable and focused
- listening to the concerns and problems of students
- collaborating with teachers, administrative personnel and parents to resolve behavioural or situational concerns to help students succeed
- working with students to create short
- and long-term objectives, particularly those related to academic performance, personal development and post-secondary job growth
- assisting in the mediation and resolution of conflicts to ensure that personal altercations don't hinder the student's academic goals and development
- coming up with counselling programmes such as alcohol and drug prevention programmes and peer mentoring programmes
- assisting students in selecting courses and other educational options that match their interests and goals
- providing guidance and education on various professional paths and assisting students in choosing their educational plans
- organising administrative duties like scheduling appointments

**Salary**: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
- Counselling: 1 year (preferred)
