**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of chemicals and raw materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols related to the storage of chemicals.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and ensure proper labeling of all stored chemicals.
- **Warehouse Operations**:

- Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize storage layouts and improve space utilization.
- Implement best practices for the safe handling and storage of chemicals.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of chemical shipments.
- **Team Management**:

- Train and mentor warehouse staff on inventory management and safety protocols.
- Schedule shifts and manage personnel to ensure adequate coverage.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and safety.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, safety inspections, and compliance checks.
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory status, stock discrepancies, and safety incidents.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and manage supply chain efficiencies.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the storage and inventory management systems.
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining compliance and safety standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of chemical safety regulations and hazardous material handling.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

**Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations, preferably in the chemical industry.

**Additional Information**:

- This position may require occasional overtime or weekend work based on operational needs.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
