**Job Description for Career Guidance Counsellor**

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting counselling sessions with students.
- Assessing students' skills, interests and personalities.
- Meeting with parents and teachers about students' needs and directing the students and their families to helpful resources
- Creating academic and career development plans.
- Guiding students through academic improvement.
- Helping students to develop transferable skills.
- Coordinating and conducting informational sessions about university admissions, career planning and personal development.
- Maintaining notes and student records.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**_: Any Master’s degree relevant to counselling.
- **Experience**_: Previous experience in counselling for minimum 2 years
- **Preference**_: IC3 Certificated or willing to undergo IC3 Certification training.
- **Languages**_: English-proficient / Tamil
- **Skills**_: Written and verbal communication, active listening, problem-solving, empathy, interpersonal skills, record keeping, confidentiality.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
