Post : - Technician " Position : 02 Nos Qualification : Diploma / ITI / NCTVT Salary : 10,000/- to 15,000/-pm A Testing Engineer / Diploma holder in the Radio Frequency (RF) manufacturing area is responsible for ensuring that RF components, circuits, and systems meet the required specifications and performance standards. Here are the key skills, knowledge, and tasks that a Testing Engineer in RF manufacturing should know and be able to do: RF Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Radio Frequency principles, including RF circuits, modulation techniques, impedance matching, transmission lines, and RF propagation. Testing Equipment: Familiarity with various RF testing equipment, such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Vector Signal Analyzers, and Vector Network Analyzers. Test Setup and Calibration: Ability to set up and calibrate RF test equipment for accurate and reliable measurements. Test Procedures: Developing and implementing test procedures for RF components and systems, including validation, verification, and performance testing. Measurement Techniques: Knowledge of different measurement techniques used in RF testing, such as time-domain reflectometry (TDR), vector error correction, and noise figure measurements. Troubleshooting: Proficient in troubleshooting RF components and systems to identify and resolve performance issues. Test Automation: Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python) to streamline testing processes and data analysis. Compliance and Standards: Understanding of industry standards and regulations for RF testing and compliance, such as FCC regulations. Environmental Testing: Knowledge of environmental testing procedures for RF components, including temperature testing, humidity testing, and vibration testing. Data Analysis: Analyzing test data to evaluate the performance of RF components and systems, identifying deviations from specifications, and suggesting improvements. Documentation: Maintaining detailed test reports, documenting procedures, and recording test results accurately. ESD and Safety Protocols: Implementing Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection measures and adhering to safety protocols while working with RF test equipment. Antenna Testing: Familiarity with antenna testing procedures, including radiation pattern measurements and antenna efficiency tests. Quality Control: Collaborating with other teams to ensure the quality and reliability of RF products throughout the manufacturing process. RF Simulation Tools: Basic understanding of RF simulation software (e.g., CST Studio Suite, ADS) for design verification and analysis. Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest advancements in RF testing methodologies and equipment.
