**QUALIFICATION**:

- GNM Course
- B.Sc. (Nursing) / M.Sc. (Nursing)

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 08 -10 years in the nursing fraternity

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Takeover of ward patients from night staffs & solve problems if any
- Check all registers
- Staff assignments
- To check admission discharge register
- To check investigation forms & send patients for procedure investigation
- To take rounds with consultant & carry out the orders
- To take & give linen
- To check cleanliness of ward, check patients medicine & treatment whether it is done or not if not ask the staff to do it.
- Write duty list (weekly)
- Enter duty roster on computer according to their schedule
- To solve patient problems & queries
- Linen checking (every month)
- Sanctioning of staff leave
- Evaluation of junior performance
- Indenting items Monthly/ Weekly
- Sending broken items for repairing & condemning of materials
- To check ward stocks, materials, medicine & to keep a ward inventory list ready
- Supervision of staffs & servants
- Inform superiors if any problem in ward
- To take round with the superiors
- To give over to next staff if anything important
- Train the new staff
- Send written communications about short coming / misbehavior of any staff / Class IV attached under her.
- Check that Medical records are submitted to the central record room in time & complete. Ensure the MLC files are submitted timely to Medical Administration.
- Any policy decisions taken by the management have to be communicated to the entire ward staff
- Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
