Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Finance Manager/Chief Financial Officer

Location: Newtown, Kolkata

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Statement Preparation:

- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

2. Accounting Operations:

- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.

3. Financial Analysis:

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights for business decision-making.

4. Compliance and Auditing:

- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits.

5. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Participate in budget preparation and forecasting.

6. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor Digree in Accounting

2. 2-5 years of experience in accounting.

3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

4. Proficient in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).

5. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience with tax planning and compliance.

2. Familiarity with financial planning and analysis.

3. Certification in financial management (CFM).
