HIERARCHICAL MANAGER: Commodity Manager
- SCOPE: Worldwide - Project & Mass Production- **Responsibilities**:
- Own supplier relationship management on the designated scope:
o Manage performance for assigned suppliers with monthly metrics review

o Conduct supplier performance reviews and foster improvement of suppliers' performance

o Deploy supplier development projects with the support of SQ&D

o Support of operational issues with impacted GBE (according to escalation process)

- Contribute to AOP & STRAP objectives achievement for the designated scope:
o Lead execution and follow-up on productivity action plans (Negotiation, VE, Resourcing ) for supplier or sub-commodity group assigned

o Secure accurate data to support Panel definition and execution & Matex plans

o Partner with GBE Buyers to deploy corrective action plans

o Conduct negotiations with assigned suppliers

o Optimize cash, payment terms and consignment stock Contractual obligations, secure planning and execution of Capex.

- Contribute to panels strategy deployment on the designated scope under the supervision of the Commodity Manager

o Support Commodity strategy deployment on assigned scope

o Contribute to collect GBE operational requirements (project & production)

o Support suppliers panel intelligence (technology and market changes)

o Lead new supplier integration process in the Panel: perform supplier prospection, supplier assessments (CSA), supplier development

o Consider GBE current and future needs as inputs for operational panel deployment

o Partner with GBE Buyer for sub-commodity business award.
- A Key Supplier Contact is a role (not a function) assigned by Commodity Director to Commodity Buyer
- Key expectation: Lead the GARRETT Procurement “one voice” relationship with assigned supplier
- KSC is accountable of the right deployment of GARRETT Sourcing fundamentals with the assigned supplier
- Supplier adherence to Garrett contractual Framework and standards
- Supplier performance review and follow up | collect inputs from scorecard and from the GBE network
- Communicate and review periodically performance to the suppliers
- Drives all needed meetings to build a consolidated summary of all on going improvement actions (quality / delivery / Price / development)
- Secure presentation to the suppliers (escalation)
- Secures appropriate traction at the supplier to support execution of recovery plan
- Accountability of supplier progress
- Yearly negotiations & Productivity reservoir management
