**Joining date - December 2nd week ( immediate joiner )
The ABAP consultant will support the SAP Functional team with respect to Workflow, Reports, interfaces, enhancements, Conversions, forms, etc. The role will include but is not limited to
- Support SAP Functional team and provide technical and operational expertise for Major Developments and Projects
- Responsible for Incident Management in ABAP and ensure timely resolution of Incidents related to ABAP
- Ensure SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Project execution and Support Phase.
- Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness during Project Discussions and resolutions when alternative solutions are available for ABAP tickets
- Perform detailed planning & project management of implementation activities for updates & patching where required
- Maintain process documentation for ABAP processes & tasks
- Ensure Year-end close/month end close checks in ABAP
- Validate and administer approved change requests
- Proactively ensure that ABAP issues cause minimum impact to end user communities
- Demonstrate reduction of outages and delays in ABAP deliveries

**MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS**
- B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. in any stream with least 2.5 -3 years in an ABAP consulting role in an SAP environment/client

**DESIRABLE TRAITS**
- Knowledge of any core module of SAP and linkages in ABAP are an added advantage
- Knowledge of DOTNET, MS SQL and other languages will be added advantage.

- Analytical ability and Data gathering and diagnosis ability
