Material Planning is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted supply of materials to support manufacturing activities. This function will be reporting to the Materials Manager for India.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Material Planning**: Plan and procure raw materials to support manufacturing, ensuring optimal reorder quantities and frequencies to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- ** Supplier Management**: Enforce supplier lead time and punctuality, ensure compliance with agreements, and address issues such as short supply and damages.
- ** Stakeholder Communication**: Actively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage supply disruptions and maintain transparency.
- ** Process Improvement**: Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes by leading collaboration among purchasing, quality, logistics, suppliers, warehouse, and procurement teams.
- ** Issue Resolution & Compliance**: Resolve payment issues, maintain high standards of purchasing data quality, and ensure adherence to procurement protocols.
- ** Subject Matter Expertise**: Develop deep knowledge of assigned materials and sourcing countries, proactively implementing strategies to ensure smooth, uninterrupted supply to the site.

**You bring**:

- ** Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a Master’s in Chemistry, Food Science, or Supply Chain Management, Economics or similar from an accredited university.
- ** Supply Chain Expertise**: 2-5 years of experience in Material Planning and Supply Chain within FMCG, Fragrance, Food & Beverage, or Pharma industries; proficient in supply chain planning techniques, inventory management, and MRP concepts.
- ** Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), SAP ERP systems; analytical mindset with experience in supply planning tools (Kinaxis or similar experience is a plus).
- ** Certifications**: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
- ** Work Environment Adaptability**: Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting demands; self-directed with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- ** Communication & Collaboration**: Strong professional verbal and written communication skills; effective team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
