Personal Driver

**Position**: Personal Driver & Office Assistant for Trade Office
**Location**: Mainly within Maharashtra
**Employment Type**: Full-time

**Important Note: Those who are staying near Bandra will be given 1st preference for this position.**

**(I) Job Summary**:
**(II) Key Responsibilities**:
**a) Driving Responsibilities**
- Drive the Trade Commissioner and/or Assistant Trade Commissioner (including any other passengers as required) to and from destinations promptly and safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and ensure the vehicle is serviced on time.
- Assist with loading and unloading of luggages and other items as required. This includes delivering and collecting parcels, documents, and office supplies.
- Update and maintain relevant entries in the driver's logbook.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of the vehicle passengers.
- Exhibit professional behavior and maintain confidentiality at all times.

**b) Supplementary Office Duties**
- Document Handling: Assist in collecting, delivering, and filing documents, letters, or packages between departments or external organisations;
- Assist with Meetings, Events, and Exhibitions: Transporting materials, equipment, or supplies to meeting venues or events or exhibitions;
- Setting up or dismantling meeting spaces / exhbition booths, if required;
- Clerical Support: Assist with basic office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, or distributing mail;
- Running errands like banking, purchasing office supplies, or paying utility bills;
- Emergency Support: Being available to assist with urgent, time-sensitive tasks that require mobility or physical presence outside the office.

**(III) Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a driver for a minimum of 3 to 5 years or above.
- Excellent driving skills, especially with luxury and automatic cars.
- Basic English reading and writing skills.
- Well-versed in car maintenance and regular servicing.
- Valid driving license.
- Minimum height: 5.3 inches.
- Professional, disciplined, and well-mannered.
- Nearby located will get 1st preference.

**(IV) Schedule**:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Morning shift
- Evening - only when required
- Weekends and Public Holidays - only when required

**Immediate joiner will get 1st preference.**

**Persons who have had records of driving under the influence (alcohol, drugs and other illegal substances) need not apply.**
