**Job Title: Admissions Counselor (Full Time Position)**

**Location**: Phase 8, Industrial Area, Mohali
**Department**: Admissions
**Reports to**: Director

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prospective Student Engagement**:

- Conduct consultations with prospective students to assess their academic goals, career interests, and readiness for IT education.
- Provide accurate and detailed information on admission requirements, program details, tuition fees, financial aid, and career opportunities.
- **Admissions Process Facilitation**:

- **Program Promotion**:

- Participate in and host informational sessions, campus tours, and open houses to promote the institute’s IT programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads through various outreach activities such as webinars, career fairs, and social media campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with high schools, universities, and other educational institutions to promote the institute and increase enrollment.
- **Enrollment Targets and Reporting**:

- Work collaboratively to meet and exceed individual and team enrollment goals.
- Prepare and present reports on recruitment activities, enrollment numbers, and trends.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Business, IT, or a related discipline).
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, student services, or a similar role, preferably in an educational or IT environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex IT programs and admissions processes clearly.
- Sales or customer service skills with the ability to persuade and influence prospective students.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a commitment to achieving set goals and targets.
- **Technical Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with IT education, including an understanding of key technology trends and the importance of IT training in today’s job market.
