**Job Title: CNC Programmer - Tooling (Rubber Compression Molds)**

**Location**: Chennai
**Experience Required**: Minimum 5 years
**Department**: Tool Room / Manufacturing Engineering
**Industry**: Rubber Molding / Tooling / Manufacturing

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create 2D/3D CNC programs using **Cimatron** and **NX** for rubber mold tooling.
- Operate and program **Haas CNC machining centers** (3-axis and 4-axis) for mold parts.
- Interpret detailed tool designs and CAD models to generate accurate tool paths.
- Optimize machining parameters to improve cycle time, surface finish, and tool life.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various mold components.
- Work collaboratively with tool designers and engineers to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Simulate and validate programs, ensuring no collision and optimal material removal.
- Set up and troubleshoot Haas CNC machines when required.
- Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, and tooling records.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- **5+ years** of CNC programming experience in a mold-making/tool room environment.
- Proficient in **Cimatron** and **NX (Siemens)** CAM software.
- Hands-on experience with **Haas CNC machines** (vertical machining centers).
- Strong background in **rubber compression mold** manufacturing (core/cavity, inserts, plates, etc.).
- Deep understanding of machining practices, GD&T, and mold components.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and perform tooling inspections.
- Familiarity with post-processing and simulation software.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making.
- Exposure to 5-axis programming and high-speed machining.
- Experience in EDM machining is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
