Nanny/housekeeper

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Childcare**: Supervise and monitor the safety of the children in their care, including preparing meals and feeding, dressing, bathing, and providing general hygiene assistance as needed.
- **Activities & Development**: Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, such as games, arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities, and field trips to enhance physical and cognitive development.
- **Routine Management**: Organize and adhere to the children's schedules, including school drop-off and pick-up, nap times, playtimes, and extracurricular activities.
- **Homework Assistance**: Support children with homework and encourage reading and other educational tasks as per their age level.
- **Household Duties (child-related)**: Maintain cleanliness in children’s areas, such as playrooms and bedrooms; do the children's laundry, prepare snacks and meals, and help with light household chores related to the children.
- **Health & Safety**: Be attentive to the children's health and safety, administer medications as needed (with parental consent and instruction), and handle minor first-aid when necessary.
- **Parental Communication**: Maintain open communication with the parents, providing regular updates on the children’s progress, behavior, and any incidents or concerns.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Prior experience as a nanny, babysitter, or in childcare is essential.
- **Skills**: Strong understanding of child development, excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize safety.
- **Education**: A high school diploma is usually required; additional education or certification in child development, first-aid, or CPR is often preferred.
- **Background Check**: A clean background check and possibly driving record if responsible for transporting children.
