CMO will attend to all emergency patients immediately without delay.
- CMO is responsible to ensure availability/functioning of emergency equipment and emergency drugs in emergency/daycare
- CMO will use medical equipment/drugs/disposables available in the casualty /daycare immediately to relieve the agony of the patient and shall replace them later on once the patient is settled.
- While managing the patient, CMO will follow defined emergency procedures. He will assess all the patients and will give them emergency treatment. In case an expert opinion is required then he will call the respective consultant.
- Once the patient is settled, CMO would ask the relatives for the registration card/admission file, if required.
- CMO is responsible for making MLC, completing the MLC register, and informing the police at the earliest and will note down the police personnel batch number in the register.
- CMO will ensure that all patients coming to an emergency, whether admitted or not, will be recorded in the emergency register. This is of importance in cases where even only first aid is given
- After the patient is seen by the consultant CMO will follow his instructions regarding investigations (Investigation Procedure) and treatment. He will personally involve himself in this management while keeping the patient informed regarding his/her progress.
- CMO will accompany the serious patient himself or ensure that RMO /Nurse will accompany while transferring patient to ICU/Floors or to Diagnostic Area.
- In case the patient does not want to be admitted CMO has to explain the risks involved and get it signed in the emergency register. He will also write on the prescription “Advised Admission but refused” & “Risk and Prognosis Explained”.
- CMO is responsible to mention the category of all the patients who come to the casualty.
- CMO is responsible to write the contact number of patients who don’t get admitted, even if advised or they want to come to the OPD.
- CMO is to ensure that the ambulance should leave within 10-15 minutes of receiving the call.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- MBBS Degree from India (required)
