**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment and utensils, and assisting kitchen staff as needed. The steward plays a crucial role in supporting the overall efficiency and safety of the restaurant's daily operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning & Sanitation**:

- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and surfaces to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
- **Dishwashing & Inventory**:

- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring that all kitchenware is cleaned and available for use.
- Assist with inventory management by ensuring that all kitchen items (plates, cutlery, etc.) are stocked and organized.
- **Assisting Kitchen Staff**:

- Support chefs and kitchen staff with food prep tasks, ingredient storage, and organizing supplies.
- Assist in basic kitchen tasks such as peeling, chopping, and sorting food as required.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Assist with the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and machinery.
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the Kitchen Manager.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow proper food safety practices to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illnesses.
- Ensure all areas are in compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or stewarding role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

**FOOD AND ACCOMODATION PROVIDED**

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:
