Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:
Directing the day to day process around various areas such as
- Directing the day to day process around various areas such as
- Allocation - Identify the missing allocation rules and coordinating with IT team for creation of same, processing reclasses and expense allocation and reconcile results
- Statutory Reporting - Reconcile Vat Receivables & Payables ledger, prepare Monthly/Quarterly/ Annual Vat Compliance for Lux entity and review the VAT returns prepared by the Consultants, preparation of Footnotes for HK & Dubai Entity
- Accruals - Record Professional fees accrual for Lux entity and reconcile
- Expert Networks - Expense analysis of Expert Network on monthly basis, monthly reconciliation and billback the fund related expense
- Managing other monthly corporate close processes for international entities (US, UK, Dubai, Australia, Asia, etc.) including running system processes in the accounting system, preparing accrual journal entries and more areas
- Reviewing and reconciling financial statement account reconciliations and researching discrepancies
- Providing support and interacting with groups outside of the corporate accounting department, such as external providers for audit requests and other business groups within the organization to validate coding and other information
- Assisting in ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
- Liaising with peers in other departments for best practice developments and process improvements

Qualification & Experience:

- Accounting Experience (combination of public and industry experience preferred)
- Financial Markets accounting experience and proficiency in U.S. GAAP desired
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent experience is strongly preferred
