CNC Laser Operator

**Job Summary**:
The Laser Marking Machine Operator and Programmer is responsible for operating and programming laser marking machines to produce high-quality markings on a variety of materials. This role involves setting up machines, programming laser parameters, monitoring the marking process, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup**: Set up laser marking machines by installing and aligning workpieces, adjusting machine settings, and selecting appropriate marking parameters based on material type and marking requirements.
- **Programming**: Develop and optimize laser marking programs using specialized software, including specifying marking parameters such as laser power, speed, frequency, and marking depth.
- **Marking Operation**: Operate laser marking machines to produce markings on materials such as metal, plastic, glass, and ceramics, while monitoring the marking process for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect marked parts for readability, contrast, and accuracy using visual inspection techniques and measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- **Process Optimization**: Optimize marking parameters and machine settings to improve marking quality, production efficiency, and throughput, while minimizing cycle time and material waste.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance tasks on laser marking machines, including cleaning, calibrating, and replacing consumable parts such as lenses and filters to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- **Safety**: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to laser safety guidelines.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of marking parameters, production activities, quality inspection results, and material usage for traceability and quality control purposes.
- **Training and Support**: Provide training and technical support to other operators and technicians as needed, including troubleshooting marking issues, programming assistance, and process optimization guidance.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in laser technology, CNC programming, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a laser marking machine operator or programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in laser marking software and programming languages such as G-code or proprietary machine languages.
- Strong knowledge of laser physics, optics, and materials processing principles.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move moderate-weight materials and equipment.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and handling delicate parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
