As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we are proud to launch a dog shelter program focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team and support this important mission.
**Position Overview**:
As a Veterinarian for the Dhampur Green Dog Shelter initiative, you will provide essential medical care and support for our canine residents. Your expertise will help ensure their health and well-being while fostering a culture of responsible pet ownership within the community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct health assessments and provide medical treatment to shelter dogs.
- Perform spay/neuter surgeries to help manage the dog population.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
- Collaborate with shelter staff to create health and rehabilitation plans for dogs.
- Educate potential adopters and the community about dog care and welfare.
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports for all shelter animals.
**Qualifications**:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in India.
- Experience in shelter medicine or working with dogs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
