We are seeking a talented and passionate Commi I specializing in South Indian Cuisine to join our culinary team in Mysuru, India. As a Commi I, you will play a crucial role in preparing authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring the highest quality and taste for our guests.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, and curries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow recipes and cooking techniques as directed by senior chefs
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Participate in menu planning and development of new South Indian dishes
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in South Indian cooking techniques and methods
- In-depth knowledge of South Indian ingredients, spices, and flavor profiles
- Excellent knife skills and food presentation abilities
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- 1-2 years of experience in South Indian cuisine preparation
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Valid food safety certification
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong team player with good communication abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for South Indian cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence
