Graphic Designer Job Description for Ethnic Wear Fashion Designer

Job Title: Graphic Designer

Reports to: Creative Director/Fashion Designer

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualization: Develop creative concepts for graphic design projects, aligning with the overall brand vision and aesthetic of our ethnic wear collection.
- Design: Create visually appealing graphics, including illustrations, patterns, and layouts, that effectively communicate the unique qualities of our products.
- Packaging Design: Design attractive and functional packaging for our ethnic wear garments, ensuring it complements the product's design and brand identity.
- Marketing Materials: Develop eye-catching graphics for marketing materials such as catalogs, lookbooks, and advertisements.
- Social Media Graphics: Create engaging social media graphics, including posts, stories, and banners, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, fashion designers, and marketing team to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all design elements.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in graphic design and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in the fashion or têxtile industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent understanding of color theory, typography, and layout.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for ethnic wear and Indian culture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

- Experience in designing for print and digital media.
- Knowledge of traditional Indian design elements and motifs.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation.
- Familiarity with têxtile design techniques.
