**JOB DESCRIPTION -**

The machinist or technicians **EXCLUSIVELY** will be responsible to execute machining activities of mechanical seals parts including milling, drilling, turning, de-burring, assembling, and testing. All types of pump maintenance / overhauling. Assembly and testing of pumps, mechanical seals at workshop as per API standard. Installation / Commissioning of all types mechanical seals, pumps at plant site.
- To setup & operate CNC machine/all gear lathe machine / Grinding Machine / Milling Machine / Drilling Machine / Slotting Machine
- Operate basic equipment and machines and carry out routine tasks.
- Precision Equipment Utilization - Interpret and use precision measuring such as micrometres, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
- Instructions and Drawings - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
- To perform on-job dimensional inspection of the machined parts
- To keep high level of safety awareness while performing on the job and to comply with all safety absolutes.
- To maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the machine and work area.
- To perform routine maintenance of the machines.
- To perform other QC Inspection or other general duties as assigned by the Superior.
