**Description-**

Origination & Advisory (O&A) comprises of regional and industry-focused coverage teams, co-led from the bank's hubs in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific, that ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to the bank's clients. It primarily comprises working on origination and execution of O&A transactions (Capital raising, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate restructurings, Ratings) as part of sector or country coverage team.

TMT covers clients in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications industries. FIG covers Financial Institution clients including Fintech names. TMT/FIG involves coverage as well as execution, serving the client from start to finish and collaborating with other teams within the bank as per requirements. Services provided include equity and debt capital raising (ECM and DCM), M&A and other advisory mandates.

The role would require you to evaluate companies, developing models for M&A transactions, preparing industry and product analyses for pitches, monitoring capital markets and interpreting relevant data for our clients, or getting involved in the execution of live deals.

**Your key duties and responsibilities**
- The role is an important backbone to the TMT/FIG team and all the analysis prepared is vital for future deal targeting and the strategic planning of the business
- Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of M&A, Leveraged Finance, ECM and DCM transactions
- Supporting senior bankers in the coverage effort of key accounts across the TMT/FIG sector
- Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling
- Engaging with clients, other advisers and senior investment bankers in both origination and execution projects
- Facilitating a coordinated approach to deal targeting by providing industry/country groups with bespoke analysis including trading and transaction multiples
- Keeping abreast of M&A and IPO trends which are important for deal selection and strategic planning
- Preparing and maintaining key items internally which are integral to the running of the team (e.g. market intelligence for ongoing deals, PE trends, RfPs and client profiles)
- Taking a productive role in live projects and developing an understanding of our clients' businesses

**Your skills and experience**:

- Relevant Corporate Finance experience/knowledge supporting the origination and execution of transactions. Specific knowledge across TMT/FIG sectors is preferable
- Understanding of complex deals across M&A, Leverage Finance and Emerging Capital Markets
- Strong Interest in finance and general market awareness with exceptional technical skills
- Strong quantitative, numerical, and analytical skills particularly in dealing with high volume of data, management of databases, excel and power point
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English across all levels
- Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment along with creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to take ownership and work toward deadlines, work with teams and drive output across multiple stakeholders
