To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility, ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times under guidance from a senior chef.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tandoor Cooking**:

- Assist in the preparation, marination, and cooking of tandoor dishes, including kebabs, rotis, naan, and other tandoor-based specialties.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation according to the resort's standards.
- **Ingredient Preparation**:

- Properly marinate and season meat, poultry, and vegetarian items for the tandoor section, following the given recipes.
- Prepare doughs and ensure proper rolling and shaping of breads for the tandoor oven.
- **Tandoor Maintenance**:

- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the tandoor oven, ensuring it is properly heated and cleaned at the end of each shift.
- Ensure proper usage of fuel (charcoal or wood) and manage the heat for consistent cooking.
- **Stock Management**:

- Monitor and manage the inventory for the tandoor section, ensuring that ingredients and materials are stocked, fresh, and ready for use.
- Communicate any shortages or quality issues to the Chef de Partie or Senior Chef.
- **Hygiene and Cleanliness**:

- Ensure that the tandoor section meets the resort's hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures, ensuring the cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and utensils.
- **Support and Coordination**:

- Assist senior chefs in other sections when required, especially during peak service times.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen sections to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.
- **Learning and Development**:

- Work closely with the Chef de Partie to develop skills specific to tandoor cooking and other culinary techniques.
- Participate in kitchen training sessions and team meetings to enhance performance and knowledge.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
