**COO APAC > Regional Procurement APAC > Service Procurement APAC** Vestas Global Procurement is one of the leading Procurement organizations and is overall responsible for all strategic Procurement activities within Vestas Wind System. Supplier Account Management, Negotiations, cost out initiatives, Category Strategy Development and Implementation are key areas. As a Purchaser you will be amongst a creative procurement team and be responsible for wind turbine components for the Vestas Service Business unit. You will be reporting to the Head of Service Material Procurement APAC. **Responsibilities** - Participate in strategy and roadmap development - Drive and develop cross-functional projects within your commodity - Secure service requirements are an integral part of Category Teams within Vestas, leverage scale, secure supply at right price and quality, and compliant with Vestas’s policies - Global lead on annual Negotiations, Supply base and supply chain optimization - Take full responsibility to develop and coordinate optimization projects - Secure and implement Procurement processes related to suppliers, not limited to Risk Assessment, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Account Plans - Work closely with the Matrix organization on the Strategy Execution **Qualifications** - An engineering degree or masters in a supply chain - At least 7-10 years of proven experience with Wind Turbine Manufacturers or Similar industries. - High-level experience with stakeholder management - You are a skilled IT user (SAP, SAP ARIBA and Microsoft Office) **Competencies** - You are action-oriented and motivated by participating in setting the direction and agenda - You are open-minded and have a natural curiosity. - An open approach to encourage stakeholder inputs and a structured and fact-based approach to secure ideas are prioritized and implemented - Focused and committed to secure the effective implementation of the initiatives you deliver - Holistic and positive mindset, working in a multicultural team - Good inquisitive, structured, and fact-based approach - Good Communications skills **What We Offer** We offer a very exciting job in Service Material Procurement APAC committed to support the Service business unit, in a flat, multi-cultural and innovative organization focusing on reaching great results.
