**Job Title: AGM / DGM - Operations (Chemical Industry)**

**Location**: Baddi, Himachal Pradesh
**Department**: Operations
**Reporting To**: Vice President / Director
**Salary Range**: ₹12 - ₹15 LPA
**Qualification**: B.Tech / B.Sc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent
**Experience Required**: 12 - 15 years in Chemical Manufacturing (preferably in Specialty or Performance Chemicals)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production planning, quality control, and process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to batch processing and chemical safety protocols such as HAZOP, MSDS, and PPE.
- Coordinate with R&D and QA/QC teams for scale-up, trials, and new product development.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to chemical manufacturing.
- Train, mentor, and lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Maintain operational documentation and ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
- Ensure timely procurement and inventory control of raw materials, solvents, and packaging.

**Technical Expertise Required**:

- Strong knowledge of **Chemical Reactions**, **Batch Processing**, and **Process Safety Management**.
- Hands-on experience in handling **Acrylic Polyols**, **PU Specialty Coatings**, **PVC Chemicals**, and **Auxiliaries**.
- Proficient in managing **Textile Coatings**, **Paint Chemicals**, and **Specialty Chemicals for Technical Textiles**.
- Sound understanding of **plant protocols** like MSDS, PPE, and HAZOP studies.
- Experience in maintaining documentation and operational SOPs for audits and safety compliance.
