Our customers are doing more and more astounding things with the Postman product every day, and as a result, we are growing rapidly.

Postman is seeking an experienced UX Writer to join our distributed UX Design teams. As a UX writer, you will understand and advocate for various audiences and user needs. You will design content and messaging that successfully guides users through involved interactions and improves overall user experience. As a self-starter, you will work independently to learn and maintain a superior understanding of the Postman platform and about APIs in general. You will be an advocate for the power of content in the user experience and work with design and product teams to continually improve Postman’s messaging and overall experience.

**What You’ll Do: (Responsibilities)**
- Shape content strategy and write copy that helps every user be successful when onboarding to the Postman platform.
- Work with product managers and designers to design experiments that drive product adoption
- Iterate on your content based on experiment results.
- Contribute to the strategic decisions around the future direction of Postman
- Proactively collaborate with writers across Postman to share learnings and create cohesive content

**About you: (Minimum Requirements)**
- 3+ years of professional writing experience
- Experience writing marketing and/or promotional campaigns
- An ability to take technical jargon and write human approachable copy that is easy to read and aligns with our company value “Earn Trust”
- Experience with rapid iterative testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially while working remote and collaborating across two offices and time zones.
- Experience collaborating with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists and Product Managers throughout the design process; creating user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Have experience utilizing user insights to generate ideas for content-based solutions
- A strong self starter who is eager to learn and grow within an expanding team
- A good understanding of how APIs work and what Postman does is important. It’s okay if you’re not an expert as long as you take initiative and are excited to learn about how things work together.
