Laboratory Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine **microbiological analysis** of metalworking fluids (MWFs), including bacterial and fungal counts.
- Assist in **sample preparation, plating, incubation, and enumeration** of microbial colonies.
- Maintain and monitor **culture media, reagents, and laboratory consumables**.
- Support **contamination studies** and assist in evaluating biocide performance in fluids.
- Record and maintain accurate **test results, data sheets, and lab reports**.
- Assist in **quality control testing** of incoming samples from customers and production batches.
- Follow **standard operating procedures (SOPs), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)**, and safety protocols.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, calibration of equipment, and proper sample storage.
- Provide support to R&D scientists in **developing new formulations** and microbial resistance studies.

Pay: ₹16,700.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
