**Job** **Responsibilities:

- **
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to maintain accurate records.
- Implement and enforce proper inventory management procedures, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Coordinate with purchasing and procurement departments to ensure that stock levels align with demand and production requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, sales, and customer service, to understand their storage and distribution needs and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and streamline processes.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

**Required Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Stores Supervisor or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
