- **Material Preparation**:Preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning, as well as preheating if necessary.
- **Quality Control**:Inspecting welded surfaces and structures to identify errors and ensure conformance to specifications.
- **Safety**:Following and enforcing strict safety regulations when using welding equipment and working in a fabrication environment.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:Maintaining and repairing welding equipment and tools, as well as monitoring equipment performance.
- **Problem Solving**:Identifying and resolving issues related to welding and fitting processes to minimize scrap and rework.
