**Job Summary**:
Crimson Schools is seeking a dedicated teacher Librarianto manage the primary school library and foster a love for reading, learning, and research among students from Grades 1 to 5. This role blends teaching with library management, supporting young learners in developing early literacy and research skills in an engaging, student-centered environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Curate, organize, and maintain age-appropriate books, digital resources, and educational materials.
- Conduct interactive storytelling sessions and reading programs to encourage a love for books.
- Guide students in selecting suitable reading materials and help build strong reading habits.
- Support classroom learning by integrating library resources into daily lessons.
- Teach basic research skills, digital literacy, and responsible resource use.
- Maintain library records, track circulation, and manage book loans and returns.
- Coordinate literacy events like book fairs, author visits, and reading challenges.
- Collaborate with primary teachers to support cross-curricular learning through library activities.
- Uphold library policies and ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and quiet reading environment.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (B.Ed.) is an added advantage.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school library, preferably in primary grades.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and cataloging skills.
- Passion for early childhood literature and promoting reading culture.
- Proficiency in library management systems and digital archiving tools.
- Ability to engage young children and create a positive, literacy-rich environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
