**Job Description: Payment Posting (2 Years Experience) - Day Shift**
**Position**: Payment Posting
**Location**: Guindy
**Shift**: Day Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
**Experience**: Minimum 2 years in payment posting
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accurately post insurance, patient, and other payments to appropriate accounts within the organization's billing system.
- Review and reconcile payments from insurance companies and patients, ensuring that all data is correct and up to date.
- Handle payment discrepancies, including underpayments, overpayments, and denials, and work to resolve them promptly.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments to clarify any payment-related issues.
- Verify the accuracy of payment adjustments and refunds.
- Maintain proper documentation of payments and adjustments made to accounts.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payment posting or healthcare billing.
- Knowledge of insurance payment processes and EOB (Explanation of Benefits) interpretation.
- Proficient with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with electronic payment posting (EPP) systems.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payment structures.
- Certified Medical Billing Specialist (CMBS) or similar certifications is a plus.
Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month
