IT Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- **Fiber Optic and FTTH Support**
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic connections and FTTH infrastructure.
- Support field teams during fiber deployment and customer installations.
- Perform basic testing and fault isolation using optical tools such as OTDR and power meters.
- **Networking Hardware Setup & Support**
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking devices such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Assist in maintaining last-mile connectivity from the ISP to customer premises.
- Support configuration of home and small office LAN/Wi-Fi networks.
- **Customer Support and Troubleshooting**
- Provide first-line technical support for customer connectivity issues.
- Perform on-site and remote diagnostics for basic internet and network-related complaints.
- Guide customers through basic troubleshooting steps and escalate issues when needed.
- **Computer and Hardware Maintenance**
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and related hardware.
- Ensure proper functioning of LAN infrastructure at both office and client sites.
- Support installation and maintenance of operating systems and basic software.
- **Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain records of service calls, network layouts, and installation checklists.
- Report issues, updates, and solutions to senior network engineers or supervisors.
- Follow standard procedures for network configuration and issue resolution.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in fiber optic network and FTTH support (basic level).
- Hands-on experience with routers, access points, switches, and customer-premise networking hardware.
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot common computer hardware and network issues.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in the field and assist customers on-site.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
