Job Details

We seek a self-motivated desktop technician to join our IT team. As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for our end users. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT equipment.

Main Responsibilities
- Supporting desktops, peripherals, and other IT equipment at our Chennai office.
- Assisting end users with Microsoft Office products.
- Providing support for video and audio conferencing tools.
- Addressing user-reported incidents and handling service requests.
- Troubleshooting basic LAN/WAN issues.
- Assisting users with remote access solutions.

Organisational Structure:

- Report directly to the Head of IT Support EMEAA.
- Work closely with end users across all offices, including various APAC, Euro & US-based IT teams, and third-party vendors and service providers.

Requirements for the position:

- Exceptional problem-solving skills paired with excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- A strong desire to learn new skills and continuously improve existing ones.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Jira.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and a thorough understanding of PC hardware troubleshooting, including printers.
- Experience with 2FA and mobile technology (iOS and Android).
- Essential understanding of Citrix/virtualization technologies.

Working days/hours: Monday to Friday - day shift or late shift (5/6pm - 2/3am); Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
