The **Civil Site MIS Coordinator** will play a critical role in overseeing the **implementation and management of Management Information Systems (MIS)** at construction sites. The individual will collaborate with **project managers, engineers**, and other stakeholders to ensure **efficient data collection**, **analysis**, and **reporting**, which will help in monitoring project progress, managing resources, and making informed decisions. The MIS Coordinator is responsible for managing various data sets related to construction projects, including **construction progress**, **inventory management**, **equipment usage**, **workforce allocation**, and **cost tracking**.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- **MIS Implementation and Management**:
- Implement and maintain MIS at construction sites to ensure seamless data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Customize and integrate MIS solutions to meet specific project needs and ensure alignment with existing project management systems.
- **Data Collection and Storage**:
- Design and manage databases for storing critical project data (construction progress, material inventory, workforce allocation, etc.).
- Create standardized data collection protocols and forms to ensure consistency and accuracy across all construction sites.
- **Collaboration and Requirements Gathering**:
- Work closely with **project managers** and **engineers** to gather and define MIS requirements.
- Ensure that all stakeholders have input into the development of the MIS to meet project-specific needs.
- **Training and Support**:
- Train site personnel on MIS usage, including data collection procedures, reporting requirements, and troubleshooting methods.
- Provide ongoing support for site personnel to ensure the effective use of MIS tools and techniques.
- **Monitoring and Troubleshooting**:
- Oversee the accuracy and quality of data collection processes and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in data.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:
- Generate regular MIS reports and dashboards to track **project performance**, **progress**, and key metrics.
- Use analytical tools to interpret data and provide insights into trends, resource utilization, cost management, and potential improvements.
- **Decision Support**:
- Analyze MIS data to assist **project managers** and **stakeholders** in making informed decisions related to **resource allocation**, **cost management**, and **project planning**.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on the analysis of data.
- **Compliance and Security**:
- Ensure compliance with **data security** and **privacy regulations** when managing and sharing project data.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to the project and its stakeholders.
- **Knowledge of Emerging Trends**:
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging MIS technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the construction sector.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing MIS tools and improving data-driven decision-making processes.
- **Store Management**:
- Manage project stores and inventories to ensure the efficient tracking and utilization of materials and equipment.Qualifications:
- **Educational Requirements**_:_
- **Bachelor's degree** in **any related field** (e.g., Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems).
- **Experience**:
- **0-1 years** of proven experience in implementing and managing **Management Information Systems (MIS)**, specifically in the **construction or engineering industry**.
- **Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong understanding of **construction site operations** and processes.
- Proficiency in **database management systems** (e.g., **Microsoft Access**, **SQL**).
- Solid understanding of **data analytics** and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and **interpersonal skills** to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to data collection systems.
- **Attention to detail** with a focus on **data accuracy**, consistency, and integrity.
- Strong **problem-solving skills** to resolve issues and optimize MIS functionality.
- Ability to work **under pressure** and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic construction environment.
- **Store Management knowledge** (e.g., material tracking, inventory control) is highly appreciated.
- **Technical Skills**_:
- Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, including data analysis, chart creation, and pivot tables.
- Experience in **report generation** and preparing **visual dashboards**.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
