- **Role Description**:_

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audit Officer at NJ Macson’s office in Chennai. The Officer will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting duties, financial analysis, tax planning and compliance, auditing and financial reporting. They may also be involved in financial planning and investment management.
- **Responsibilities and Duties**:_
- Maintain MIS monthly and quarterly records.
- Conduct month-end and year-end book closure activities.
- Conduct Quarterly and Statutory Audits.
- Conduct Internal Audit and Tax Audit / Third-Party Audit Coordination.
- Prepare and handle Direct and Indirect Taxations.
- Produce reports and recommendations following Audits.
- Resolve any tax-related issues for the business or clients.
- Provide financial advices to the management or clients.
- Preparation of Expense Budget Reports.
- Ensure Compliance with state revenue service.
- Assist in Tax Planning.
- Liaise with Auditors.
- Investigate and rectify any financial discrepancies.
- Prepare budgets, annual reports and strategies.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Should have cleared the Intermediate Examination of Chartered Accountancy conducted by the board of ICAI.
- **Knowledge**:_
- Should have knowledge in vouching and verification of books of the firms during audit period.
- Expert knowledge in taxation and other statutory compliances.
- **Knowledge of handling IT filing and accounts of NGOs and Trusts.**
- **Experienced in**:_
- **0 - 1 year of experience as a Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant.**:

- Statutory Audit of Private Limited Companies.
- Filing of Annual Returns of companies with ROC.
- Expertise in Internal Audit, Accounting Policies and other Statutory Compliances like TDS, GST etc.
- Must be comfortable with travelling and open to travel opportunities.
- **Skills**:_
- Well-versed with English and Tamil Languages.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good computer literacy and technical prowess.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
