Job Title: Purchase Executive

Industry: Heavy Fabrication and Automation

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services for fabrication and automation projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate prices, lead times, and terms with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance
- Analyze market trends, prices, and availability to optimize procurement decisions
- Manage inventory levels, track orders, and ensure timely delivery
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing in the heavy fabrication and automation industry
- Strong knowledge of fabrication materials, processes, and equipment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and other procurement software
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with automation systems, robotics, and control systems
- Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as CAD/CAM systems
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
