**Key Responsibilities**:
Data Scientist (Strong Python + ML some experience + Good Comms) Data Scientist to join our team and help us unlock the power of data.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Data Exploration and Analysis: Clean, preprocess, and explore large and complex datasets. Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within the data. Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Model Development and Implementation: Develop and implement machine learning models, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis. Evaluate model performance and iterate on model improvements. Deploy models into production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, using visualizations and storytelling techniques.
Innovation and Experimentation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Experiment with new techniques and technologies to drive innovation. Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python programming language and data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.) Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to think critically and creatively Excellent attention to detail
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
Education and Experience: Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering) 2+ years of experience in data science or related field
