- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Delivering high-quality lectures, labs, and workshops on various data analysis topics, including statistical analysis, data mining, data visualization, and machine learning.
- Developing and updating course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments, to align with current industry standards and best practices.
- Using diverse teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles and ensure student engagement.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback on student work.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contributing to the design and development of new data analytics courses and programs.
- Ensuring the curriculum is relevant to industry needs and incorporates the latest trends and technologies.
- Participating in curriculum review and revision processes to maintain academic rigor and relevance.
- **Student Advising and Mentoring**:

- Providing guidance and support to students pursuing data analytics degrees or related fields.
- Helping students choose appropriate courses, select research topics, and plan their careers.
- Mentoring students in research projects and providing guidance on career development.
- **Research and Scholarship**:

- Conducting independent research in data analysis or related areas.
- Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
- Seeking external funding for research projects.
- **Service to the Department and University**:

- Participating in departmental meetings and committees.
- Contributing to the overall academic life of the university.
- Engaging with industry professionals and participating in outreach activities.

In essence, data analytics faculty are responsible for:
