Chennai, Tamil Nadu- Work Type: Internship- As a Hardware User Experience (UX) Intern, you can work closely with cross-functional teams including product design, software development, and engineering. You will contribute to shaping the way users interact with our hardware products, ensuring intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences. This is a hands-on role where you will gain practical experience in UX design, usability testing, and prototyping for physical products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and product teams to create seamless user experiences

for hardware products.
- Assist in user research activities such as conducting surveys, interviews, and usability tests.
- Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and iterate on product features.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Work on the development and refinement of interaction models, ensuring they align with

hardware functionality.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the best user experience.
- Support the team in conducting competitive analysis and benchmarking for hardware user

interfaces.
- Help prepare and present design insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recent graduates with a degree in Industrial Design, Human-Computer

Interaction, UX/UI Design, or related fields.
- Passion for designing user-centered hardware experiences.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and methodologies.
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques for physical product interactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of usability testing methods and tools.
- Experience with 3D modeling and prototyping tools (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks, Rhino).
- Understanding of physical ergonomics and accessibility principles in hardware design.
- Basic coding skills or familiarity with programming languages used in hardware interfaces (e.g.,

Arduino, Python) is a plus.
