**Job description**

Nurses work as part of a team of professional and medical staff that includes doctors, social workers and therapists. Nurses plan and provide medical and nursing care to patients at care home or in other settings who are suffering from chronic or acute physical or mental ill health.

- Monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions
- Take patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
- Record and update records of patients vital information
- Supervise junior staff
- Organise workloads
- Provide emotional support to patients and relatives
- Tutoring student nurses

Location: - Glasgow, United Kingdom

Qualifications: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (Diploma)

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Gap - up to 18 months accepted

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT: EITHER IELTS ACADEMIC OR OET.

IELTS: Band 7 (Listening 7, Reading 7, Writing 6.5 and Speaking 7)

OET: B (Listening B, Reading B, Writing C+, Speaking B)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Commitment to providing high quality care, following policies and procedures in accordance with NMC codes of practice.
- OET or IELTS required score
- An ability to communicate effectively with those you are caring for as well as within a team setting.
- At least 1 Year of experience in a Registered General Nurse/Registered Mental Health Nurse role
- Able to provide a minimum of 2 employer references.
- Mental Health Nurses (NMC and CBT in Mental Health)
